Master Attribute: a broad trait that can be assigned multiple traits

Item Attribute: traits that you can assign to an item in the Webstore. Each attribute will have its own SKU number and price. Because each attribute field is an open line item, it is not limited to what text you add. The limit of attributes you can add to an item is 30.

Example 1: if you are selling a "T-shirt" item and need a way for students to select a size, you can create and assign a Master Attribute, "Size," to the item. After assigning the master attribute, you can create multiple attributes of each "Size" of the item.

Example 2: if you are selling "Musical Instrument Rentals" as an item, you can create and assign a Master Attribute, "Musical Instrument,"  to item. After assigning the master attribute, you can create multiple attributes of each "Musical Instrument" with different pricing if necessary.
