Mail Templates are customized letters (also known as emails) that can be sent to new students and/or returning students.

The following variables can be used to merge the student information into the letter for customization: {school_name} {first_name} {middle_name} {last_name} {student_number} {access_key} {grade} {mailing_address1} {mailing_address2} {mailing_city} {mailing_state} {mailing_zip} {email}

Please be advised that {student_number} can only be used for returning students.

Navigation: DCP or SCP > Settings > System > Mail Template

Click "ADD MAIL TEMPLATE" to add a new template.

Letter Name: Subject of the email

Letter Content: Body of the email

Letter Type: Select if you want this letter to be available to new students, returning students, or both
